Gordon Carters new CD is here!

Gordon Carter is a rare breed in this world. He is a talented singer/songwriter who writes from the heart about his local heritage and homeland. Gordon Carter's songs are timeless, blending folk and folklore seamlessly.

In this day of mass-produced music, his work stands up against the classic songwriters of our day. If we had a 2005 Woodstock, Gordon Carter would be there.

REVIEW

“Gordon Carter is the real deal—and he got the support he deserves here. The result is an debut album to be proud of. His rivers are easy on the eyes, and his roads are easy on the feet. One of my favorite Spider John Koerner albums is called SOME OLD AMERICAN FOLK MUSIC LIKE THEY USED TO…and this one could have been titled SOME GREAT CANADIAN FOLK MUSIC LIKE THEY STILL OUGHT TO. Carter, Lightfoot—I have a feeling one day music historians will have trouble keeping their Gordons straight.”
